The following instructions are binding and the tenant is obligated to perform them fully - failure to comply with these guidelines will result in fines and disciplinary proceedings.

Each tenant has a personal responsibility for his apartment and a joint responsibility for all the dormitories. Every tenant is obligated to maintain the apartment and the equipment in a reasonable condition, as he has received it.      

It is recommended that the following equipment be in each apartment:

 

  • Detergent for washing floors (bleach of any type – no substitutes!)
  • Floor rags (replace frequently depending on use)
  • Dust cleaning cloths (to be washed weekly)
  • Scotches for cleaning dishes (to be replaced each quarter)
  • Bleach (regardless of section (a))
  • Toilet cleaning detergent (At least toilet cleaner "00" by Sano)
  • Toilet bowl cleaner for flushing tank (recommend: Sano blue /Aqua blue
  • Dishwashing detergent
  • Kitchen paper (or absorbent paper) / towels (laundry at a frequency of one week)
  • Garbage bags
  • Aluminum foil
  • Steel wool
  • Disposable gloves
  • Detergent for washing windows


The detailed equipment list must be purchased independently at the appropriate frequency.
Be sure to wash the dishes after use - if you spill something -  wipe it.
If after frying there is dirt on the stove - it is recommended to clean immediately after the stove has cooled.
Do not throw cigarette butts out of the window; do not throw dirt out the window - a student who will do so will face disciplinary proceedings and will be fined.


Guidelines for cleaning the kitchen


Kitchen

  • Rinse the microwave plate both from the inside and outside.
  •  Wipe the microwave externally with a damp tower – make sure to remove all the crumbs.
  • Wipe the cupboards externally.
  • The marble countertop is to be cleaned using bleach, remove all dishes from the countertop and then rinse.
  • Rinse the sink well with bleach – a few times a week is recommended.
  • Wipe the refrigerator with a damp cloth (recommended with a window washing material).
  • If you use grease remover to clean the cooking stove – extra care should be taken with the grease remover by using gloves. The cooking stove is made of glass and therefore it is not necessary to use grease remover.
  • Under no circumstances (!) should you leave garbage outside the door. An apartment, which outside its door garbage bags will be found – its tenants shall face disciplinary proceedings and fines.
  • The garbage can should be emptied at the end of each day and not once a week.


Shower and toilets:

  • The toilet should be cleaned with "Sano 00" or another quality substitute) using gloves and with extra care.
  • Wipe the bowl seat with a damp cloth (window washing material is recommended)
  • he sink should be cleaned well with bleach.
  • Care must be taken to keep the shower door open for ventilation.

The shower doors must be cleaned with vinegar only and should not be cleaned with bleach.

Floor:

  • Rinse the entire floor in the apartment.
  • Use floor cleaners based on bleach rather than substitutes.
