At the end of the authorization period or upon the termination and / or early termination of the authorization agreement, the tenant is required to return the apartment free of any personal objects, in a good and clean condition, except for wear and tear due to normal and reasonable use. The apartment must be arranged in an orderly manner in order to facilitate the process of leaving the dormitories. Each tenant must carry out a check out process from the apartment or room at the time of leaving the dormitories or from one room to another in the dorms (hereinafter: "apartment"). The credit process differs slightly depending on the type of apartment in which they live.

If the apartment is in a single / couples apartment, the apartment must be cleaned. If the accommodation is in a shared apartment - the tenant's room must be cleaned and the portion of the apartment is shared.

A staff member from the Student Dormitory Administration will check the apartment in the presence of the tenant when he is in the apartment. The cleaning and cleanliness of the apartment after the tenant took out his belongings, after the staff member's approval and the return of the keys to the apartment, the tenant will sign the form for the apartment. A tenant who does not coordinate the date of departure in advance and in writing - a staff member from the Student Dormitory Administration will conduct the examination in the absence of the tenant and determine the condition of the apartment.

Check Out Procedure: 

The dormitory counselor must determine in advance the time when he will arrive at the apartment in order to check the condition of the apartment. In addition, it is necessary to clarify with him (or at the dormitory offices) what is the common part of the apartment that needs to be cleaned in order to get the credit if the residence is in an apartment of partners.

Cleaning:

Window Cleaning.

Cleaning dust from shelves, tables, drawers, etc.

Cleaning the door of the room (including removal of labels).

Cleaning switches.

Thorough cleaning of the room (including under the bed).

KITCHEN

Rinse the microwave plate inside and out.

Wipe the outside microwave with a damp towel - make sure to remove all the crumbs.

Wipe external and internal cabinets. Make sure there is nothing left in the closets.

Refrigerator - wipe the refrigerator with a damp cloth (recommended with a window wash material). The refrigerator must be disconnected from the mains. After cleaning and thawing, leave it open. Do not leave food in the freezer compartment. Do not scratch the ice with a sharp instrument!

Clean marble using bleach, remove all dishes above the marble and then rinse.

Shower and toilet

Clean the toilet with "00 Snow" (or other high-quality substitute) using gloves and with caution.

Wipe the toilet seat with a damp cloth (recommended window cleaner).

Wash the sink well with bleach.

Care must be taken to keep the shower door open for ventilation.

The shower stall itself has a well flush with bleach including the doors.

Cleaning the wardrobe (including drawers) and the linen box.

Remove all personal equipment from the apartment, do not leave food and groceries in the apartment.

Return of special equipment received.

Invite the dormitory counselor for review (as stated by coordination) and return the key (to the dormitory guide).

Receive the check out form.

Review your check out and account prior to your departure:

The student dormitory administration strongly recommends two weeks prior to the date of departure to request a preliminary review in order to avoid unnecessary charges on the day of departure and to enable the resident to have a quick and efficient exit process. Interested tenants can contact the student coordinators in advance and in writing up to 14 days prior to the planned departure date and request a preliminary examination of the apartment. During the examination, a preliminary process will be carried out for the delivery of the apartment (which is similar in essence to the delivery of the apartment) and a detailed report will be received on the scope of the damages or the necessary repairs (if any).

Important Comments

  • In the event that the apartment is vacated when it is not in accordance with the provisions of an authorization contract or as follows, the tenant will be required to pay a fine of NIS 1,000 in addition to any other compensation according to an authorization contract or law to which the center is entitled.
  • Keys - Each resident at the time of his absorption into the dormitories receives a set of keys that includes a key to the apartment and a key to the mailbox to be returned at the time of departure. A tenant who has lost his key to the apartment or will not return the key as stated at the time of departure will be charged for issuing a new key.
  • If the tenant does not vacate his belongings from the apartment and from any other part of the dormitory at a time when he must do so under an authorization contract, the center will be entitled to vacate the apartment and the dormitories of these objects wherever he deems fit, at his sole discretion. Because of this, the Center does not undertake to store and / or store such objects For any cost or expense incurred by the Center in respect of these activities, including storage, the tenant undertakes to indemnify the Center within 7 days from the date of receipt of such demand.
  • The deposit will be refunded to the resident within 6 months from the date of departure by bank transfer only to a bank account that will be delivered upon departure. For more information about the deposit, see page 38.
